It is. From the top of either the Empire State building or One World Trade Center in New York city, on a clear day - like a REALLY clear day - you are supposed to be able to see 6 states. Allegedly, you can see New York and New Jersey of course, but also Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Delaware. Second place tie goes to the Sears Tower in Chicago, and the Four Corners area of New Mexico, where you can see 4 states each from their respective locations.
