Remember that the Perimeter of any figure is the distance/length of the outer edge(s). For a triangle, that means: P=s1+s2+s3.
Since you know the perimeter and the length of one side, and that the other two sides are the same, you can write your formula as: 8888=77+s+s or 8888=77+2s. Solve for s and you have the lengths of both remaining sides.
