The best way to solve this problem is to write it out as an algebraic equation.
n + (n+2) = -32 where n is the first integer and since the next integer is a consecutive odd number it must be 2 greater.
If we simply this expression we get 2n + 2 = -32. Then 2n = -34. Then n = -17
-17 is the first integer. The second integer is obtained by adding 2, which get us -15.
-17 and -15 are two consecutive odd integers with a sum of -32.
