As a non-native English speaker, what aspects of slang language were most difficult to understand?

I would say the informal ways of greeting people,which were completely different from what I had learned when I was taking English lessons, such as: What´s going on?; Have a good one; How´s it going?; What´s happening?

Frankly, I learned how to use them better when I first studied abroad.
