Camera for Couple and Event Photography?

I have Nikon D5300 camera with two lenses ( 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G & 55-200mm f/4-5.6G), please let me know if my camera and lenses work for Couple and Event Photography? if not , what Camera and Lens do you recommend ?

It will work just fine. However it will struggle with lower light levels. If you will be doing a lot of indoor shots in subdued light. Then you will need lenses of at leat F2.8 if not 1.4. Thst is why so many people use dedicated Portrait lenses. These usually have this speed. At a much higher cost.
