Why is this equation difficult to solve and how can we do it : 0.2x+800=250ln(x)-600?

This is quite a tricky problem but the 2 answers are x = 362.16 & 3006.78

I used Newton's Iterative formula and let it converge around the approximate roots of 350 & 3000! I saw them by looking at a general graph of the function.
