This problem is easier than it looks. Let's just write an equation based on the given information. If g(x) = h(x) + k, then
x2-6 = x2+3 + k
OK so far?
Now, just solve for k.
-6 = 3 + k (subtracting x2 from both sides)
-9 = k (subtracting 3 from both sides)
