A series of numbers as follows: 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, --, 55, 89. What would be missing numbers in this series?

Try and find the pattern... What is happening with the previous term(s) to produce the next term? You often need to look at more than one previous term to see what's happening. In this case, start with the first two terms & compare them with the 3rd. Then look at terms 2 & 3 and compare to the 4th. Etc.
