What is use of sin cos tan in genral life? If not, why are they included in our education system like that?

I don't have the grand details but a few occupations/fields of employment are below,

Carpentry, Navigation, Architecture, Land Surveyors( use tangent), Medicine/Radiology ( CAT + MRI scanning to detect tumors and in laser treatments use sine and cosine).
