Why was I able to extract 1.5 liters of thick maple syrup from 40 liters of maple SAP which is a ratio of 27 to 1, and how is this possible when it defies the 40 to 1 rule?

40 / 1.5 = 400/15 = 80/3 which is not quite 27 to 1 but very close
