Hey! Lets solve this shall we ?
We notice a polynomial where the leading coefficient is negative. However, we can still factor it to solve for x!
So,
-6x2-3x = 0 turns into
-3x(2x+1) = 0 by factoring out a negative 3x. Then using the Zero-Product Property to make
-3x=0 and 2x+1=0..................Then we solve each one for x
x = 0 and x = (-1/2)
I hope this helped!
