Yes, there is a way to create a shortcut to apply a Normal style. Below is a list of shortcuts for the Heading styles as well as how to create a shortcut for the normal style.
• Heading one Ctrl+Alt+1
• Heading two Ctrl+Alt+2
• Heading three Ctrl+Alt+3
Assign a shortcut to Normal style
1. Right click on the Normal style found under the styles group and click Modify.
2. In the Modify style dialog box click in the lower right on Format and then Shortcut key...
3. In the Customize Keyboard dialog box enter a new shortcut key (example:Ctrl+Shift+N).
4. Click Assign and Ok.
You are now set to start using the shortcut to apply Normal style.
