I also prefer to work in MS Word in the "Page Width" view. Although there is not a keyboard shortcut assigned to get to Page Width view quickly, you can add your own keyboard shortcut to MS Word for Page Width View. It's easy to create keyboard shortcut in Word for Mac.
In the Tools Menu - select 'Customize Keyboard...'
In the Categories list - select 'View'
In the Commands list - scroll to and select 'ViewZoomPageWidth'
in the 'Press new keyboard shortcut' area - type "Command+\"
Click the Assign button, then click the OK button to exit the dialog box
You now can simply use the keyboard shortcut 'command-\' (that's command key - plus the forward slash key) to immediately change to Page Width view.
