How to frame/explain that I built datasets used on several publications, but I'm not on the papers?

I was wondering how I could frame/explain in my CV that I built the datasets used in several publications outside of my field. I'm in the health sciences but have worked for a couple social science professors for several years. In this work I built several of their datasets that were used in papers. However, due to my lack of knowledge of their field and lack of contribution to the papers (beyond the dataset) I am - quite reasonably - not included as an author. How can I best frame this work on my CV and for PhD applications? Thanks!Edit: spelling

This may fit quite nicely in a "Projects" section of your CV. Then you will want to determine how to reference this activity (probably by Article title; and you'd also want to provide the full citation so the reader would have enough information to find if if they are so inclined). A brief description of 3-5 sentences should encapsulate this activity well. If you did the same thing for multiple studies/publications, then reference them together with the one description for all of them. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
