the volume of a triangular prism is area of the base which in this case is a triangle x height
so 55.68 = (1/2)(9.28)(h)
solving for h= (2)(55.68)/9.28
h=12

So the formula for the volume of a triangular prism is Volume (V) = Area of the base (B) * Height of the prism (H)
So, filling in the information you gave gives us 55.68 = 9.28 * H
To solve for H, all you need to do is divide both sides of that equation by 9.28:
55.68 / 9.28 = (9.28 * H) / 9.28
6 = H
So the height is 6 :)
