Tim answered all the questions on his math test but got 10 answers wrong. He received 4 points for every correct answer, and there was no penalty for wrong answers. His score was 76 points.

How would I set up the equation to find the total number of questions on his math test?

I get what you are trying to say, but I do not know how I am going to be able to set up an equation to solve this using a two-step equation, but thank you for helping me out.

So, if you have to set up only one equation, I would say do this: Total questions = Correct Answers + Incorrect Answers Total questions = 76/4 + 10 Total questions = 19 + 10 Total questions = 29
