For the following system of equations, complete a table of at least 5 points for each equation, then graph the system on the coordinate plane. Describe the solution.

y = -3x + 4

6x + 2y - 8 = 0

put this equation into y=mx+b form

subtract 6x from both sides

2y-8=-6x

add 8 to both sides

2y = -6x+8

Divide both sides by 2

y=-3x+4

so both equations though they look different at first are equations for the same line so your table should have similar values for both.
