Greetings! Lets solve this shall we?
There are 12 cookies to make 1 dozen!
So, 17 times 12 = 204 !
We then split the 204 cookies between the two ladies as 204 / 2 equals 101 cookies each!
Since one of them sold 32 fewer than the other lady, 101 - 32 = 69 cookies.
So, one of the ladies sold 69 cookies !
Finally, we subtract 69 from 204 to get the amount the other lady sold! 204 - 69 = 135 cookies!
I hope this helps!
