2x2 - 6x
I look at each of these terms (2x2 and -6x) and realize they have 2x common denominator.
I am dividing both terms by the common denominator.
2x2/(2x) = x
-6x / 2x = -3
I put the common denominator in front, and the rest in parentheses.
2x(x - 3)
