How to open a multiple page PDF file as artboards in Illustrator CS6?

I'm trying to open a PDF file with 7 pages and need to adjust each page in Illustrator CS6. How do I open the PDF file in one single AI files with all artboards within it?

When you click on open

click on open all and type in 1-7 in the pages select box.

that way you can open all the pages

if it is flat and you want to edit it.

close the PDF file (do not save)

I would suggest making a new file with 7 art boards.

then you must open the pdf and where it say page type 1-1.

open it

copy and past it to the new file.

then close the file (don’t save the file)

open it again but type 2-2 in the page select box

open file and copy and past the file into the new file.

don-this for every page.

by doing this you will be able to edit the file.

if the font gets corrupted that means you don’t have that font in your system. So you have to find the font and upload to your program or type it over.
