This is one of those projects where you have to stop and ask yourself about what you are trying to achieve.
To answer your question, I think it is a better idea to instead try to take your presentation to the web rather than try to put the web inside of a PowerPoint presentation. I have never heard of being able to edit HTML or JavaScript inside of PowerPoint (which are both web-based and PowerPoint is not). It would be much easier to build your presentation as a website, and animate through your slides (or divs) with JavaScript, especially since you are going to demo JavaScript anyway. On another note, you can also add scripts to Google Slides. I would actually recommend a switch to Google Slides rather than PowerPoint for future presentations, regardless of whether you are a Mac or Windows user. With Google Slides your presentation is guaranteed to always look the same on every device, and you will never lose it because it's saved online.
