Starting with taking a practice test to see what areas you in which you are strong, and what areas you are weak, you can use that information to really focus on the subjects you feel least confident about.
Then, you should study those subjects to the level expected on the GED test until you feel confident enough to take the test for real. Depending on how close your practice test score is to passing, your range of study could be anywhere from a month to nine months.

Go to Ged.com. Look over the practice questions, testing locations, and eligibility. Decide if you want to try to prepare on your own, or in a group, and make your plan. Many community colleges and organizations offer GED prep programs, but you are not required to do these in order to take the GED.05/13/20
