To find a product we need to multiply. But this is not our first step in solving, it is our last.
You have two values that are being changed, 5 and 10. When you take a number to certain "powers" or "exponents," it is as if you are multiplying your number by itself as many times as the value of "power" or "exponent" is.
5 is being cubed, which means raised to the power of 3 --> 53 = 5 x 5 x 5 = answer "Z" (let's call it)
10 is being squared, which means raised to the power of 2 --> 102 = 10 x 10 = answer "Y" (let's call it)
After doing these two calculations you multiply them together to get the product.
"Z" x "Y" = answer
