Question 1:
Area of surface of the swimming pool is: 1000 * 100, or 100,000 square feet.
Question 2:
Volume of a rectangular box is: V = L * W * H.
Volume of the swimming pool is: V = 1000 * 100 * 10, or 1,000,000 cubic feet.
