Perimeter = 2(6 +w) +2w =56

Distribute

12 + 2w + 2w =56

12 + 4w = 56

Subtracting 12 from both sides

4w = 44

Divide by 4 both sides

Width is 11m

Length is 6m + 11m = 17m
