A bag contains​ pennies, nickels,​ dimes, and quarters. There are 50 coins in all. Of the​ coins, 8% are pennies and 30​% are dimes. There are 4 more nickels than pennies. How much money does the bag​ contain?

There are 8% of 50 = 4 pennies

There are 30% of 50 = 15 dimes

There are 4 + 4 = 8 nickels

50 - (4+15+8) = 50 - 27 = 23 quarters

23*0.25 + 8*0.05 + 15*0.1 + 4* 0.01 = $7.69
