Then we plug in what we know, and solve for what we need:

$21.76 = 2.72 * Weight (Divide both sides by 2.72. The 2.72 on the right side cancels out)

$21.76 / 2.72 = Weight (Calculate 21.76 / 2.72)

8 pounds = Weight (Since it is evenly 8, not necessary to round to nearest hundredth)
