Building equations can seem really hard, but just remember you want to do 2 things that will end up equalling 22. If I were building a one step I would just divide by 2 and say that n/2=11. By dividing n ( which we know is 22) by 2 you will get 11. If we do the inverse to solve for n we would get n=22.
So for the two step find a way to add or subtract number to get you to the first equation. For example if I add 2 to 11 it will be 13. Therefore if I add 2 to both sides I will still get 22 as an answer when I solve for the variable n.
2+ (n/2) = 13
Step 1- Subtract 2 from both sides
(n/2)=11
Step 2- Multiply by 2 on both sides
n=22
I know you asked this question a long time ago, but I hope this helps in the future.
