total area = 10+16pi = about 60.265 or about 60.3

if you use 3.1 for pi

you get 16(3.1) = 49.6

add 10 to get total area about 59.6 square feet

the 3.1 approximate value of pi underestimated the actual total area by about 0.7 square feet
