i am in algebra one and we are doing the X factor puzzle and I was trying to figure out how would I find the X factor of 5 and 7 if the 5 is in the left box and the 7 is on the bottom

The easiest part would be to find the right side, because we need two numbers that add up to 7, and we already have 5:

5 + x = 7

5 + 2 = 7

so we now have a 5 and a 2. Multiply them together, and we get 10 for the top section That means we now have the following:
