At your kid's age, I hated math, too. Not any more!
Hey Bob--
Draw 11 circles to represent 11 pizzas. Leave 7 of them whole, and divide each of the other 4 pizzas into either halves, thirds, fourths, eighths, whatever fraction you like.
Then create mixed numbers out of wholes and pizzas, and just shade them in or cross out as you go so you don't lose track.
That's one way to do it. Pizza never lies!
