What is the order from least to greatest of -11/5 -2.4 1.6 15/10 and -2.25

Please help i really need to do this for my math homework and i dont get it

Treat the fractions as a division problem to get a whole number.

Therefore, -11/5 = -2.2 (remembering that a negative number divided by a positive number is equal to another negative number - if doing by hand) and 15/10 = 1.5

Now your numbers are: -2.2, -2.4, 1.6, 1.5, and -2.25.

Obviously negative numbers have a smaller value than positive ones; however, going down the numerical scale, the larger the negative number appears to be then the "more negative" it is, meaning that they are the smaller numbers.  If still confused, do not hesitate to respond to this post.  I hope this helped!
