Total pressure = PNe + PO2
Using P1V1/T1 = P2V2/T2 and T2 = 0.400 L + 0.150 L = 0.550 L we have....
For Ne: (1.50 atm)(0.400 L)/513 = (P2)(0.550 L)/298 Solve for P2 which will be PNe
For O2: (0.724 atm)(0.150 L)/403 = (P2)(0.550 L)/298 Solve for P2 which will be PO2 (note ∆ mm to atm)
Add the PNe + PO2 to get total pressure of the mixture.
