Make a difference table. The 2nd difference is a geometric sequence with ratio of 3.
The next diagonal row (NE to SW) in the table will be 896, 1195 and 1595 (the next number in the sequence).
Please note: this may not be the ONLY possibility for the next number in sequence but there is a good reason for the selection of this answer.
Additional note: It took me a little more time to work out the general term in the sequence I suggested as an answer. It is
an = (1/9)(14*4n-1 + 3n + 1) for n≥1 and you may check out that a6 = 1595!
