So, we must find the equation of a line using the slope and given point such that we pull out the point-slope formula to get
y - y1 = m(x - x1)
y - 6 = 4(x - (-2))
y - 6 = 4(x + 2).............Distribute the 4 inside to get
y - 6 = 4x + 8.............Then add 6 to both sides such that
y = 4x + 14
