We have 12|2-4x| < 52+2x. First we distribute the 12 inside the absolute value function such that
|24-48x| < 52+2x................Then we add 48x to both sides to obtain
|24| < 52 + 2x + 48x
|24| < 52 + 50x...................Then we subtract 52 to both sides
-28 < 50x................Then divide 50 to both sides to obtain
-28/50 < x ...............which reduces to
-14/25 < x
