Greetings! Lets solve this shall we ?
So, first we must find the slope of the graph such that
m = (y2-y1) / (x2 - x1) = (-1 - 5) / (-4 - 7) = -6 / -11 = 6 / 11
Then we must use the point-slope formula such that
y - y1 = m(x - x1)................Let (x1, y1) = (7,5) and the slope m = 6/11 such that
y - 5 = (6/11)(x - 7)...............Distribute the (6/11) such that
y - 5 = (6/11)x - (42/11).............Then add 5 to both sides such that
y = (6/11)x - (42/11) + 5................(-42/11) + 5 = (-42/11) + (55/11) = 13/11. Then,
y = (6/11)x + (13/11)
I hope this helped!

Greetings! Lets solve this shall we ? So, let the equation in point-slope form come from the the point (x1, y1) = (7,5) and the slope is m = (-1-5)/(-4-7) = -6/-13 = 6/13. Then, y - 5 = (6/13)(x - 7) y - 5 = (6/13)x - (42/13)..............Then add 5 such that y = (6/13)x - (42/13) + 5.............Then (42/13) + 5 = 23/15 y = (6/13)x + (23/13) I hope this helped!05/08/19
