Which is an equation in n point-slope form of the line that passes through the points (7,5) and (-4,-1)

Tim T.

Greetings! Lets solve this shall we ? So, let the equation in point-slope form come from the the point (x1, y1) = (7,5) and the slope is m = (-1-5)/(-4-7) = -6/-13 = 6/13. Then, y - 5 = (6/13)(x - 7) y - 5 = (6/13)x - (42/13)..............Then add 5 such that y = (6/13)x - (42/13) + 5.............Then (42/13) + 5 = 23/15 y = (6/13)x + (23/13) I hope this helped!
