First, find the slope of this line.  Y= x+10.  So, its slope is 1.  Next find the negative reciprocal of 1, which is -1.  This is the slope of the line that is perpendicular to y=x+10.  Now, any line with -1 as a slope will be perpendicular.  Here are a few

 

y=-x

y=-x-3
