Since you can't solve the first equation with two variables, we're going to plug in 4B instead of A in the first equation. The 4B comes from the second equation, which says that A is the same thing as 4B.
4B + B = 160
Combine the B's: 5B = 160
Divide both sides by 5: B = 32
Now plug 32 in for B in the first equation: A + 32 = 160
Subtract 32 from both sides: A = 128
A is 128 mm. B is 32 mm
