What should you do if they're not specific?

In a maths word problem, what should you do if they don't say whether the price is relating to each individual product or all of them as a whole? (in questions such as these)


For eg: Tom buys all the lollies in a shop for 6 more pounds than the muffins, which cost 2 pounds altogether. How much do the lollies cost?
