If you think of the amount the youngest gets as Y
The middle son M = Y + $35, or the youngest plus $35
The oldest son O = 2Y, or twice as much as the youngest
Added together, the total is $775
If you put this together into a math sentence or equation, you will have:
2Y + (Y + $35) + Y = $775 so now you can solve for Y, the youngest, and then use that to get the other two values.
