Help me answer this PLEASE

Question

Ralph buys 3 bags of chips and 2 candy bars, he spends $3.75. Jody buys 4 bags of chips and 2 candy bars, she spends $3.00. Later Clancy joins Ralph and Jody and asks to buy 1 bag of chips and 1 candy bar from them. They need to work out how much he should pay.

Write equation to represent how much Ralph paid. Write an equation to represent how much Jody paid. Use the two equations to figure out the price of the bag of chips and the price of a candy bar.

Let C = cost of bag of chips and B= cost of bar of candy

Ralph:: 3C + 2B = 3.75

Jody :4C + 2B = 3.00

Subtract Ralph's equation from Jody's to find the cost of chips, then use either of the 2 equations and the value of C to find B.

Then you can tell Clancy how much it will cost.
