Make a math sentence with what you know...

For a rectangle L + L + W + W = 88 cm BUT they also tell you that the length is 8 MORE (+) than 2 times (x) the other side, so L = 8 + 2W....so now you can sub L = 8 + 2W into your first equation and solve!
