Algebra 1 Table of Values

Question

Make a table of values for each function rule. Then graph the function.

y= 1.5x - 3  y = x to the power of two + 4

First function is a line which passes through intercept (0,-3) and (2,0)

from there you go up three and two (2) to the right

the second function is a parabola...

it bellies down at (0,4) with axis of symmetry mirror at x=0

(1,5) and (-1,5) are on opposite sides of the mirror

(2,9) and (-2,9) are on opposites sides of the mirror
