Two numbers are reciprocals of each other if their product is 1.
The simplest way to find the reciprocal of a number is to express it in fractional form and then make the numerator the denominator and make the denominator the numerator. In algebra the reciprocal of a number, say n, is written as 1/n.
2/3: the reciprocal is 3/2
1/7: the reciprocal is 7/1, or 7
4: write 4 as 4/1 and the reciprocal is 1/4
