This question is written in a way that can be confusing.
Remembering that f(x) can be written as y simplifies this.
Using that fact, we know y=4 when x=-10 and y=4 when x=-2
Therefore we have two points (-10, 4) and (-2,4). If we were to graph it, we could see the line that connects these two point is y=4. Therefore the linear function is f(x)=4
If however the two points were more complicated, we could: 1. Use the fact that a line is of the form y=mx +b 2. Find the slope 3. Substitute a point.
