The perimeter is just the length around the polygon. In a regular polygon, all of the sides are the same length so the perimeter is just:
(length of one side) x (number of sides)
Example: A regular pentagon has 5 sides of equal length. If one side is 6 cm long then the perimeter is:
(length of one side) x (number of sides) = 6 cm x 5 sides = 30 cm
