| Sally's humanities test is next week. She knows it takes 15 to 20 minutes to read one page. She has 10 pages to read before the test. She estimates it will take two hours and will plan to read the morning of the test. What is the result of her estimate? |
Sally only has 120 minutes to read and if it were to take her 20 minutes to read 1 page at a time she would spend a total of 200 minutes to read, I am unsure which answer is correct? I feel as if it is either 2 or 3.
1.Sally's estimate is close enough and she will be finished with her reading in time.
2.Sally's estimate is not accurate, but she will complete most of the assignment.
3.Sally's estimate is low, and she will not finish her reading in time.

2 hours = 120 minutes
120 min < 150 min She should start reading tonight!
Think!
If she needs 200 minutes but has only 120 before the test, is that enough time?
