Raising Gpa !!!

Question

If a Sophomore half way through the year has 9.5 credits and a 2.7 GPA and is taking getting 6 courses next year, what would it take to achieve a 4.0 GPA. What grades and any possible extra classes.

Sophomore has 25.65 grade points (9,5 x 2.7)

A G.P.A. for 15.5 credirs would require 62 grade points (15.5 x 4)

Sophomore need 36,65 from the upcoming 6 courses

That is more than 6 points per class.

An impossibility considering that an A is only 4 points!

Maybe sophomore should have worked to get a 4.0 on the first 9.5 credits.
