Here’s the question: cherries cost 2.50 per pound and mangoes cost 3 per pound Leslie bought a total of 7 pounds of cherries and mangoes for 20

how much to the cherries cost (I forget the whole questions but this is what it kind of asks)

2.5T + 3M = 20

2.5T + 3(7-T) = 20

2.5T + 21 - 3T = 20

21 - 0.5T = 20

-0.5T = -1

T=2
